Mary Kay Della Camera
CTSBDC intake manager Mary Kay Della Camera is passionate about helping people access the resources they need to succeed with their small business. Since June 2013, she’s been responsible for helping new clients navigate CTSBDC and pair with the right business advisor, as well as empowering them with the right information and guidance so they achieve their full potential. She was the recipient of the 2014 ASBDC State Star for Connecticut for her flexibility, organizational abilities, and entrepreneurial initiative.
Mary Kay earned her BA in Religious Studies from Albertus Magnus College and her MS in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. She went on to earn a Sixth Year Professional Diploma in Administration-Supervision from Southern Connecticut State University.
Mary Kay coordinates client referrals to CTSBDC through active assessment and facilitating client contact with appropriate state resources. She works with a dynamic team of student employees from the CTSBDC Lead Office at the University of Connecticut, Storrs.
In her free time, Mary Kay enjoys reading, walking and hiking with her family, scrapbooking and assisting the elderly, as well as volunteering time for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 2, in Tolland.
