The Connecticut Small Business Development Center Graduates the First of Many Connecticut Entrepreneurial Students
The CTSBDC graduated students from the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program™ on Wed., Aug. 5 at the City of New Haven Small Business Resource Center.
The Ice House Entrepreneurship Program is an innovative and interactive program created by the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative designed to inspire, inform and involve participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide.

CTSBDC Helps Waterbury Innovate In 3D

The Connecticut Small Business Development Center is loaning a 3D printer to the Manufacturing Alliance Service Corporation (MASC) to help foster and nurture innovation, and to create economic opportunity in Waterbury. This 3D printer is available for community use. CTSBDC and MASC launched the use of the 3D printer with a ribbon cutting ceremony and demonstration on Tues., Aug. 11 at MASC.

New Business Advisors Offer Opportunities For Small Businesses in Connecticut

The CTSBDC welcomes two new business advisors, rounding out a talented and diverse group of 14 who are ready to serve small business owners and entrepreneurs in every state of business development and growth. Valeria Bisceglia and Tony Peters are based at the Business Council of Fairfield County in Stamford and the University of Connecticut in Stamford, respectively, and bring strong economic development and entrepreneurial backgrounds to the team.
