Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling and Economic Development Director Elizabeth Stocker scheduled a press conference for 11:30 am on Tuesday December 15, 2015, City Hall Room 231, to announce a new small business resource that is now available in Norwalk at the City Hall and to introduce the staff from the CT Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to the community.
An office (Room 100) at Norwalk City Hall is now open and staffed by SBDC small business advisor Anthony Peters on Thursdays from 10 to 2 pm. Walk in and appointments are welcome.
Mayor Rilling states that “the provision of this resource at City Hall is convenient for our entrepreneurs and small business owners to access guidance and assistance with their business planning and at the same time provides an opportunity to supplement our economic development goal of providing support for small business growth in Norwalk.”
“This beneficial partnership between the Connecticut Small Business Development Center and the City of Norwalk ensures that entrepreneurs of the city have access to the necessary resources available to assist with starting or growing their business. This allows for economic growth and job creation in this area,” said CTSBDC State Director Emily Carter.
