Small Business Agency Sets Office Hours in Milford

MILFORD >> The Connecticut Small Business Development Center has partnered with the Milford Department of Economic and Community Development to offer weekly office hours at the Parsons Government Center, according to a release.

Chris Pisarz, a business adviser with CTSBDC, will be at the center to “assist, guide, and educate prospective and existing business owners,” the release said.

The Connecticut Small Business Development Center “provides no cost, confidential advising services to both prospective and existing business owners to help them start or expand their business,” the release said. “The agency can assist small-business owners find funding sources, whether state grants or private loans” and “can also connect businesses to competitive market analysis data or to software programs that make bookkeeping more streamlined.”

To register for business advising, visit, and type “Milford Economic Development” in the referral box; advise Julie Nash, director of economic development, of the registration at or 203-783-3230. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays in the Community Development Department in the Parsons Government Center, 70 W. River St.
