Seeing people learn, grow and succeed—and overcome obstacles that stand in the way of accomplishing their passion and building their future—is why I love being an CTSBDC business advisor.
As a trusted advisor Jim Jackson counsels entrepreneurs and small business owners to build something their customers and communities value and use. He also encourages their insights, energy and willingness to jump back after mistakes—essential characteristics for being a business owner—as he guides them through business plan development and execution, leadership opportunities, challenges and decisions.
Jim has nearly 20 years in small business management consulting along with more than 25 years prior experience in product design, manufacturing and management. And in 1996 he co-founded the award-winning Side Street to Main Street Business & Leadership Development Program to help minority business owners in Greater Middlesex County develop formal business plans, and build leadership and management skills needed to start or expand their businesses.
As a “recovering engineer” Jim loves to fix and improve things in the world around him as well as hike and observe nature in the wild.
Jim is available to meet with clients throughout Middlesex County.Go Back
