The Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) continues their commitment to serving Connecticut’s Veterans by providing this “one stop” access to a range of programs and services offered by state and federal agencies, Veterans organizations, and community based non-profits.
Virtual Stand Down 2020 day one will begin with kickoff ceremony at 9:00am on the 24th at the DVA Rocky Hill Campus broadcast via social media, this will be followed by online informational sessions and webinars conducted by the Department of Veterans Affairs, other state and federal agencies and community service providers on topics including Supportive Services for Veterans and their families, Federal VA Benefits, Housing and Homeless Services, State Labor/Employment and vocational resources, Veteran Caregiver Support, Legal Assistance, Education resources and more.
CTSBDC will be participating in this event with a presentation on How to Start a Business.
